Ever wonder how people get those awesome looking social plug ins working in blogger?  Would you like to know how to get the twitter logo to fly around your Google Blog?

Today while working on finding receive more visitors to my blogs through Facebook, this one particular site really caught my eye.  The site had the nicest skin for a Google Blog and in the left corner of the blog was an animated dragonfly that scrolled with the blog along with a great combination of purples.  Thinking to myself, now what can I do to make my blog noticeable like that, a Google search was launched to find Google Blogspot Skins.  Instead what was discovered is this blog, MyBloggerTricks.com with all types of nice tips on getting your google blog noticed.

What actually happened is first I was searching for a new Google Blog Skin when I came across a blog that had the animated twitter that follows a reader as they scroll through the blog.  I had to have that flying twitter and that is what next began a brand new Google search on how it was done.  As soon as these three following social plugins, with the easy guide provided by MyBloggerTricks.com, my adsense jumped right through the roof, no joke:

Now when readers visit, they are tempted to check out all three of the new social plug ins, wouldn't you agree?

Can using a custom google search on my website, blogger or even in a blogpost be beneficial?

You may have noticed the option Google offers for using their search engine for different uses, such as, for searching the entire world wide web, only your blog/website or a choice of search options you would like the reader to discover by setting up a choice of sites that will show up when the user does a search.  How can you make this beneficial to you or even waste your time setting one up when it feels as if nobody is using it.

If your site is one that is offering a large variety of games, wallpapers or website skins, it is obvious that having the option of allowing the user to search your site for what they need makes the Google Custom Search useful.  Google search engine does earn revenue in the same way that you earn revenue from Google adsense and YouTube videos through the advertisements.  The question is, how can a regular blogger like ourselves find use of a custom Google search engine?  It almost seems useless to have it on your site, that is not the case and let me explain an example of how a custom search can be profitable and work for you in just a simple blog post.

A few days ago prior to this post on my personal blog, Elizabeth's Miscellaneous Topics,  I created a post called: The trick of digging up dirt on somebody at no cost, explaining how you can do a search for people, free of charge, using Google's search engine.  In that post is a Custom Google Search engine at the end giving the reader the option to try out the topics that I am speaking about.  If you have not visited the link than here it is again so that you can get a better understanding of what I am talking about before reading on in this post.

As you can see the search engine is available right in the blogpost and people can now do a search.  What is neat about that post is that it is also has people try out my suggestion of doing a search for "Elizabeth's Miscellaneous Topics".  This will also make a possiblilty of that blog coming up in Google's Trends if enough readers try it out.

Some ways to advertise you business and website for free

Free Tip:  When viewing your google adsense account in Classic mode using Firefox/Mozilla, the page is blank.  This is because some Adblock Plus included with Firefox is blocking the scripts google uses for adsense.  Go to your Google Adsense account than on the Menu select, Tools --> Adblock Plus and disable on Google.com.

Occasionally, while doing a Google search for business you will run across a website that the business is listed on.  A few that comes to mind is YellowPages, AT&T Solutions and Yahoo Local Listing.  What is amazing is I stumbled across these sites by accident while searching for information about other businesses.  Once the information was discovered, so was the fact that the sites listing the company was in fact a great place to list my own Ideas About Starting A Home Based Business From Blogs, Elizabeth's Blogger Wikis and Elizabeth's Miscellaneous Topics blogsites.  These little things are important in earning visitors so that I can earn more money with my Google Adsense Account.

The moment I come across a site that allows me to list my own site for free, immediately, before it slips my mind, I will sign up and enter my own URLS.  Daily, because of doing this my blog receives more and more visitors.  It takes me probably an hour a day going through google searches before the jackpot is hit.  Than is the process of signing up, adding the information needed to obtain visitors to my site and submitting the URLs for approval.

The screaming advertisement is telling me my blog sucks?

This advertisement is terrible, you know the one you see everywhere, hacker sites used to have them back in the day all the time.

"CONGRATULATIONS YOU WON" - Then it has a seizure.
I am embarrassed about the that advertisement. It makes my dog, Mimzy, run around her cage and bark. Then you have to let her out of the cage so she can run around and make sure it is the computer. What's worse is when you can't get it back then it takes longer to get Mimzy back in her cage. She wants to check everywhere and make sure there isn't a man sneaking in the house. If I'm lucky a quick refresh gives me luck and it screams "CONGRATULATIONS YOU WON".

One time I was at a friends house and did a Google search visit for a blog post to see what type of ads my blog would pull up from a different IP. I wanted to get the perspective of somebody viewing my blog behind a different IP and on a separate computer. My blog screamed "CONGRATULATIONS YOU WON" FROM HIS SPEAKERS, OOPS. He was shaving and he yelped Nothing happened but his yelp made it quite funny since he didn't slice his neck open.

Since the ads are on my blog, I'm curious what other people are seeing from different points of visits on the Internet. Here are a few ways I figure blog visits come up by various types of visits, and what type of ads you will see.

1. Your search engine visit by post
2. When you pull you blog up in the search engine by the blog title.
3. Pulling your blog up by direct visit
4. Viewing your blog through a social network as a second party reader.

Doing a search for your blog and visiting via the search engine gives you an idea from your own computer. There are ways advertisements pick up visits, the secret termer picker upper recognizes them. Even were you place the advertisement on your blog and/or website.

I moved the spaze ad to the bottom of my blog but on the top when you get enough visits you get the neat ads. Business term blogs are a dime a dozen so the hits aren't as often, the business Blogs numbers are really really big.

Twitter is interesting, mostly I read things. Twitter confuses me, if you log in you see and see a random @somebody but if they have been @ing for an hour, that is alot of @ing and tinyurling you have to go through. Does anybody actually do that, spaze ad?

Not sure what to really say in twitter, there are so many chirps. If the twitter bird follows you do you think they are investigating you? It seems like every time you visit a link on twitter, it is somebody trying to sell you a so called program on how to get more followers on twitter. Here is a little kicker for you, read Making Progress on Spam and then tell me if you can get 4,000 followers, other add says we mean 4,100? That ad is embarrassing also, are the advertisers punishing me intentionally?
